ドラマ「to Heart ～恋して死にたい～」Blu-ray BOX
A determined young man dreams of becoming a professional boxer, while a girl sincerely believes that, if the world were about to end, she would want to fall deeply in love before it did. Their chance meeting begins this classic youthful romance, first broadcast in 1999 and presented here for its Blu-ray debut with a leaflet containing episode synopses.
Toko works part-time at a crêpe shop. At a video store, she meets a young man whose name she does not even know and falls for him. Although their first encounter ends in an argument, the intense look of concentration she later sees on Yuji’s face as he trains in a park draws her to him all over again.
As Toko’s feelings grow, she discovers that Yuji, too, is caught in an unrequited love for a woman at his part-time workplace. Meanwhile, the legendary boxing champion Yoshii recognises Yuji’s talent. His pursuit of a place in the ring and Toko’s unwavering affection become intertwined.
Image and sound noise originating from the original master tapes may be present. Licensing restrictions also mean that some of the recorded content differs from the original television broadcasts.
