Tokyo Revengers — Volume 5

The Blu-ray and DVD editions of the TV anime Tokyo Revengers, whose broadcast began in April 2021, are here!

Tokyo Revengers is the latest major work from Ken Wakui, the creator of Shinjuku Swan. Serialization began in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2017, and the original manga had surpassed eight million copies in circulation when this edition was announced. This hugely popular work finally becomes an anime!

Volume 5 comes in a three-sided slipcase and Digipak featuring newly drawn illustrations. The included booklet features a newly drawn colour cover and manga by original creator Ken Wakui.

Story The most passionate and the most heartbreaking time-leap suspense story: Tokyo Revengers. Takemichi Hanagaki is a failed part-time worker whose life has hit rock bottom. He learns that Hinata Tachibana, the girl he dated in middle school and the only girlfriend he has ever had, has been killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang, the most vicious and evil alliance of criminals. The day after hearing the news, Takemichi is standing on a station platform when someone pushes him from behind. He falls onto the tracks and prepares to die, but when he opens his eyes, he has somehow leapt twelve years into the past. Returning to his middle-school days twelve years earlier, when his life was at its peak, he begins his revenge against life: to save his girlfriend and to change the self who has always run away!
