Tomodachi Game Anime

How much would you sell your friends for? Volume 1 of Tomodachi Game arrives on Blu-ray. The hugely popular manga, with more than four million copies in circulation, receives its long-awaited anime adaptation. Will you trust your precious friends or betray them? An extreme psychological game exposes human nature.

High-school student Yuichi Katagiri values friendship above all else and enjoys fulfilling days with his close friends Shiho Sawaragi, Tenji Mikasa, Makoto Shibe and Yutori Kokorogi. But one incident draws the five into a debt-repayment game.

Volume 1 contains episodes one through four. Video extras include the creditless opening and ending sequences and Cast Version Tomodachi Game numbers one and two. Episode one includes the audio commentary Ura Tomodachi Game, featuring Chiaki Kobayashi, who plays Yuichi Katagiri, Yume Miyamoto, who plays Shiho Sawaragi, and Tomohiro Ono, who plays Makoto Shibe.

The edition comes in an outer box with tall-case packaging. Its booklet contains eight pages of newly drawn manga by original author Mikoto Yamaguchi and manga artist Yuki Sato. A bonus CD contains the first volume of the background-music soundtrack.
