Toshiyuki Nishida's GOLDEN BEST returns as a two-disc Blu-spec CD2 collection. One of Japan's leading actors, Nishida built a distinguished career through television dramas including Saiyuki, Ikenaka Genta 80 Kilo, Shiroi Kyoto and Doctor-X, as well as the Tsuribaka Nisshi film series.
His powerful singing brought success beyond acting. Moshimo Piano ga Hiketanara, the theme from his starring drama Ikenaka Genta 80 Kilo, became a nationwide hit. This album also gathers numerous theme and insert songs from dramas and films in which he appeared.
Nishida passed away in October 2024 at the age of 76. This enduring best-of album captures his appeal as a recording artist across 32 songs.
