Train to the End of the World Anime

Move through the unknown to find a friend. A certain suburban town is not the ordinary countryside it appears to be. Its residents are undergoing extraordinary changes. Even amid this upheaval, Shizuru Chikura holds a powerful wish: to see her missing friend again. Shizuru and her companions board an abandoned, immobile train and set out into the outside world, unsure whether they can return alive. What awaits at the destination of the train running toward the end of the world?

Episodes 1–4 are included. Chika Anzai plays Shizuru Chikura, Azumi Waki plays Nadeshiko Hoshi, Erisa Kuon plays Reimi Kuga, Hina Kino plays Akira Shinonome, Nao Toyama plays Yoka Nakatomi and Kazuyuki Okitsu plays Zenjiro.

The single Blu-ray contains 96minutes, Japanese Linear PCM audio and no subtitles. Regular extras are the creditless opening and the first three Wan Wan Train, Where Are You Going? mini-anime episodes. The original first-press offering included Asako Nishida's illustrated special case, an illustrated digipack, a reproduction recording script for episode 1,58pages of production materials and an 18-page booklet; these conditional bonuses are not guaranteed.
