TRIGUN Animation

One million bullets. A wild celebration in the badlands, where storms of gunfire meet swirling sand!

Released in theatres in April 2010, this original theatrical story brings Yasuhiro Nightow’s science-fiction cyber western Trigun to the big screen. The standard Blu-ray edition, unavailable at the time of the theatrical release, now joins the collection at an accessible price.

In the near future, on a remote frontier planet covered in rock and desert, people eke out a living amid harsh natural conditions by relying on energy sources known as Plants.

Rumours spread that the legendary master robber Gasback is targeting Macca City, a settlement surrounded by quicksand. The town fills with roughnecks hired by its powerful resident Kepler to protect it, and bounty hunters hoping to collect the reward on Gasback.

Meryl and Milly visit the town to make an assessment and are stunned by what they find. Among the crowd is Vash the Stampede, the man with a sixty-billion-double-dollar bounty!

Terrified by the prospect of destruction and catastrophe, Meryl tries to drive Vash out of town. As usual, however, Vash remains untroubled and spends his time flirting with the female bounty hunter Amelia.

At that very moment, Gasback’s gang finally appears. For some reason, Vash’s companion Wolfwood is among them…!?

As their conflicting motives become entangled, the outlaws’ wild celebration in the badlands begins!
