TRIPLE AXE The Last Tour in Makuhari Blu-ray preserves the finale of a collaboration that brought HEY-SMITH, coldrain and SiM together across Japan's loud-rock scene. Active as TRIPLE AXE since 2012, the three bands chose to pause their joint touring activities after this final tour. The Makuhari Messe Event Hall performance is presented in full.
HEY-SMITH's set includes Be The One, Say My Name, Drug Free Japan, Endless Sorrow and Come Back My Dog. SiM follows with material including The Rumbling, KiLLiNG ME and f.a.i.t.h, while coldrain's section spans VENA, ENVY, VENGEANCE, The Revelation and Final destination. The TRIPLE AXE performances bring the collaboration itself into focus with 15MANIAX, ALL FOR NOW, SiLENT DUB and SiLENT WAR.
Document of TRIPLE AXE looks back over the project's history in a documentary edited for this release, complementing the concert rather than repeating its set list.
This two-disc, region-free Blu-ray edition contains a main concert running approximately 178 minutes. Japanese is the documented audio language for the edition, and no subtitles are included.
