Unnamed Memory Animation

An untold fairy tale of a witch and a crown prince. The meeting of a witch who has lived through long ages and a cursed king changes the fate of the world.

The popular fantasy novel Unnamed Memory, published in Dengeki no Shinbungei, began as a web novel. It took first place in both the standalone books and novels category and that category's new-work ranking in This Light Novel Is Amazing! 2020. Alongside a manga adaptation serialized in Dengeki Comics NEXT, the story became a television anime in April 2024.

In an age when five witches wielding immense power inspire fear and awe, Oscar, crown prince of the great kingdom of Farsas, visits Tinasha, the Witch of the Azure Moon, in her tower in the wilderness. He seeks to break the curse placed on him in childhood that prevents him from having descendants.

Oscar overcomes the trials of the witch's tower, which is said to grant any wish. The wish he chooses is to take Tinasha as his wife.

The crown prince becomes the witch's contractor, and the witch becomes his guardian. Their encounter transforms the age of witches and eventually rewrites the fate of the world. What story awaits Oscar and Tinasha?
