Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! Animation

Watched over, teased and nudged along: Uzaki-chan returns for a second season with double the annoyance and double the cuteness! The popular romantic comedy about an irresistibly cute but exasperating university junior is back.

Based on the manga Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!, serialised in Niconico Manga’s Dra Dra Sharp, the series became a talking point almost as soon as publication began. Its lively romantic comedy and distinctive characters have helped the manga pass a cumulative circulation of 2.5 million copies. The second anime season brings even more of Hana’s wonderfully troublesome charm.

Third-year university student Shinichi Sakurai has spent a summer holiday being dragged around by his junior Hana Uzaki. Despite all her irritating attention, there was never a dull moment. But Uzaki-chan still has not had enough fun!

Autumn brings the university festival, winter brings Christmas, and there are plenty of events ahead. This time Hana’s entertaining family joins in too, making everything even livelier. As the pair are watched over, teased and encouraged by those around them, signs of change gradually appear in the everyday relationship of two people who are “just a senior and a junior.” The youthful, chaotic romantic comedy with this annoyingly adorable junior begins again.

Permanent video extras include the creditless opening and the SUGOI YOKOKU Double web previews.
