Vanilla Mania! surveys more than twenty years of Vanillaware artwork, drawing from every game the studio had developed by the book's 2023 publication. The selection spans the original GrimGrimoire and its OnceMore edition, Odin Sphere and Leifthrasir, and Dragon's Crown and its Pro edition.
Art from 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Grand Knights History, Muramasa and Kumatanchi broadens the view of the studio's work. A smaller selection from Princess Crown and Fantasy Earth: The Ring of Dominion reaches back to George Kamitani's earlier projects.
Selected images carry commentary from the staff who created them, and an interview with sound studio Basiscape explores another part of the games' production. Edited by the Dengeki Game Books editorial department and published by Kadokawa, this Japanese-language official artbook contains 304 pages.
