Vinland Saga Anime

Southern Jutland, Denmark, enters a new millennium. After the death of his enemy Askeladd, Thorfinn has lost his reason for living. Bought as a slave by landowner Ketil, he works clearing land on Ketil's farm. Meeting Einar, another young man reduced to slavery, prompts him to confront the sins he has committed and discover meaning in life.

Meanwhile, Canute has become King of England and plans to expand his territory further to build a paradise. This is the saga of a true warrior: beyond the prologue lies a saga of atonement and salvation.

The lower-volume box contains episodes 13–24. The voice cast features Yuto Uemura as Thorfinn, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Einar, Kensho Ono as Canute, Mayumi Sako as Arnheid, Yu Hayashi as Olmar, Hideaki Tezuka as Ketil, Taiten Kusunoki as Thorgil, Fuminori Komatsu as Snake, Mugihito as Sverkel, Yoji Ueda as Leif and Akio Otsuka as Thorkell.

The jacket is illustrated by character designer and chief animation director Takahiko Abiru, and a Vinland Saga Season 2 special booklet is enclosed. Extras include textless opening and ending sequences and special commentary on Episode 23, Two Paths, with Yuto Uemura and Kensho Ono. Jacket and specifications may change without notice.

The two region-free Blu-rays contain approximately 308 minutes with Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio and no subtitles.
