Awayuki belongs to the third generation of one of Japan's leading VTuber agencies, but her carefully cultivated, soft-spoken persona struggles to stand out. One evening, she forgets to switch off her stream. Viewers discover her beer-loving, outspoken private self, complete with her enthusiasm for women and bawdy jokes. What looks like a career-ending mistake instead makes her go viral.

Rather than retreat behind her old image, Awayuki embraces the contrast and lets her more candid personality shape her broadcasts. Around her, Live-On's other performers bring their own quirks to a lively comedy about friendship, performance and the unpredictable gap between an online persona and the person behind it.

Ayane Sakura voices Awayuki and her alter ego Shuwa-chan, with Saku Mizuno as Mashiro, Machico as Hikari and Sayaka Kikuchi as Chami. Takuya Asaoka directs the TNK production, Deko Akao handles series composition and Reina Iwasaki designs the characters. Live2D modelling helps recreate the expressive movement of virtual performers within the animation.

The single Blu-ray contains approximately 94 minutes of episodes, plus creditless ending sequences, character promotional videos and commercials. This Japanese edition offers Linear PCM stereo audio without subtitles and supports region-free playback.
