Wagakki Band follows TOKYO SINGING with its fifth original album, I vs I, built around the idea of battle. Its title encompasses the struggle within oneself when facing music, competition with rivals and the surrounding world, and the members' nine-year effort to bring their sound to listeners across the globe.
The thirteen-song album includes Starlight, the theme of Ichikei no Karasu, Seimei no Aria from MARS RED and The Beast, the opening to Baki Hanma's second season. Yoi no Hana and Ai Yori Aoshi also connect the program with the game Shin Sengoku Enbu -KIZNA-.
Meisaku Journey, the Ahare! Meisaku-kun theme, and a self-cover of Hoshi no Gotoku, originally supplied to Strawberry Prince, appear as bonus recordings. This CD Only Edition includes a second disc with instrumental versions of the complete album.
