Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina Anime

A traveling witch tells stories of parting. The popular GA Novel series becomes a television anime with beautiful imagery.

Once upon a time, there was a traveler. Her name was Elaina, a gifted young woman who reached the highest rank of magic users, witch, at an early age. Inspired by a travel story she read as a child, she continues on a long, leisurely journey wherever the current takes her.

Roaming freely through the vast world, she encounters bewildering, eccentric people and glimpses the beauty of others' everyday lives. As a traveler without a particular goal, she repeatedly meets different countries and people, with just as many farewells. Please do not concern yourself with me; I am a traveler, and I must hurry onward. This is the story of the encounters and partings woven by the witch Elaina.

The first box contains episodes one through six. Video extras comprise creditless opening and ending sequences and web previews. The box is illustrated by original character designer Azure, with digipak-style jacket artwork by anime character designer Takeshi Oda. It includes a new novel written by original author Jougi Shiraishi, with illustrations by Azure, and the First Volume special booklet.

The cast features Kaede Hondo as Elaina, Kana Hanazawa as Fran, Tomoyo Kurosawa as Saya and Yoko Hikasa as Sheila.
