WANDS Live Tour 2024 BOLD Blu-ray

WANDS Live Tour 2024 BOLD Blu-ray captures the Tokyo Garden Theater finale of the band's first Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka hall tour with its fifth-era lineup. Five years after announcing its 2019 return, WANDS brought a more tightly unified live sound to a venue larger than any it had previously headlined. The July 8, 2024 performance is preserved in full, accompanied by a documentary running for more than 40 minutes.

Vocalist Daishi Uehara and guitarist Hiroshi Shibasaki are joined by supporting musicians Ryosuke Nikamoto on bass and Ryo Kanda on drums. Building on their work together during the 2023 tour, the musicians give the current songs and familiar favourites the same forceful band identity.

The complete set starts with We Will Never Give Up, GET CHANCE GET GROW, David Bowie no Yoni, Shomikigen Gire I Love You and FLOWER. The fifth-era version of Secret Night - It's My Treat follows, leading into Sora e Mukau Ki no Yoni, SHOUT OUT!!, Honey, Makka na Lip, RAISE INSIGHT and Burning Free. Fifth-era performances of Motto Tsuyoku Dakishimeta Nara, Toki no Tobira and Ai o Kataru Yori Kuchizuke o Kawaso connect the band's earlier repertoire to Ai o Sakebitai, Daitan and WONDER STORY.

The encore brings together MILLION MILES AWAY in its fifth-era version, Canaria Naita Koro ni and the fifth-era version of Sekai ga Owaru Made wa.... Together with the documentary, the disc has an approximately 166-minute runtime. This region-free Blu-ray presents the programme in 16:9 colour video with Japanese Linear PCM stereo sound and no subtitles.
