Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me Animation

Let’s make sparkling, exciting memories! The beloved Wataten! anime returns with a completely new adventure, bringing the group’s gentle, cheerful world to their first outing together.

Based on the popular comic serialised in Comic Yuri Hime, the story follows Miyako, a shy, enthusiastic university student, and her relaxed everyday interactions with Hana and the other children around her. Precious Friends brings these familiar characters together for a new story that was shown in cinemas across Japan.

Hana, Hinata, Noa, Koyori and Kanon are always close friends. Today, they are gathered at home again, enjoying a sweets party with Miyako’s homemade treats. The flower-shaped cookies look just like Hana’s hair ornament.

That ornament is a precious treasure given to Hana by her grandmother when she was little. Everyone becomes fascinated by the story, and they decide to visit Hana’s grandmother at her home as a practice run for a school trip. Their very first outing together is about to begin.

Permanent video extras include the theatrical trailer, television commercials and programme promotional videos.
