Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop Regular Edition Blu-ray

FlyingDog's tenth anniversary production, the animated film Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop, comes to Blu-ray! I meet you in my seventeenth summer. Your emotions rise in one of animation's most emotional final scenes.

In a regional city during their seventeenth summer, Cherry struggles to communicate and can rarely express his thoughts except through haiku. Smile cannot overcome her insecurity about her appearance. They meet at a shopping mall and gradually begin exchanging words through social media.

One day, they learn why Fujiyama, an elderly man they met at their part-time workplace, keeps searching for a cherished record he has lost. They decide to find it themselves. As they search together to fulfill his wish, Cherry and Smile grow much closer. But one incident causes their feelings to miss each other.

At the story's climax, Cherry's direct, explosive message reaches deep into the heart and becomes a vivid flash remembered as part of one summer.
