World Witches Take Off! Part 2 — Regular Edition

Those witches' strange everyday lives have returned with even more energy!? The second Witches spin-off anime brings even more surreal, warm-hearted comedy!

The second spin-off project from the hit Witches anime series became a television anime in January 2021! Strike Witches: 501st Joint Fighter Wing Take Off!, adapted for television in 2019, depicted the witches' everyday lives in a surreal, warm-hearted gag-comedy style. Its sequel became a television anime in January 2021! Once again based on the comics by Fujibayashi — Strike Witches: 501st Joint Fighter Wing Take Off! Continued and Brave Witches: 502nd Joint Fighter Wing Take Off! — the television series comprises six episodes for each unit, for twelve episodes in total.

Separate limited editions of both Blu-ray volumes were announced with special tapestries featuring new artwork by Fumikane Shimada. This product is the regular edition; the tapestry belongs to the separate limited edition and is not included here.

The Blu-ray and DVD editions were announced with lavish benefits for Witches fans: Digi-packs newly illustrated by Fumikane Shimada, outer cases supervised by character designer Kei Ajiki, booklets containing newly drawn manga by Fujibayashi, and special video bonuses even richer than the main programme!

Story The countries of the world formed an allied force to fight the Neuroi, enemies of humanity that appeared without warning. However, only girls with special magical powers could confront them... or so it seemed... No matter how much time passes, humanity's enemy, the Neuroi, never arrives... Rather than fighting, the witches from around the world spend their days lazing about. This time, the story follows not only the 501st unit but also the daily lives of the 502nd unit, the Brave Witches! The second strange everyday-life comedy about witches who do not fight the Neuroi begins!

Included episodes The six instalments of the 502nd unit arc, parts 1–6. The official edition page identifies them by their arc numbering. Amazon's current edition description identifies their television broadcast numbering as episodes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12. The earlier Animate and CDJapan descriptions print the odd episode numbers; the current edition listing and official 502nd arc designation are followed here.

Permanent bonuses Special bonus video: Big Sister General Election, latter half. Creditless endings for the six instalments of the 502nd unit arc. CDJapan describes bonus material.

First-production benefits — conditional Special outer case supervised by character designer Kei Ajiki. Digi-pack newly illustrated by original creator Fumikane Shimada. Booklet with newly drawn illustrations and manga by Fujibayashi. These three physical benefits were first-production exclusives and are not guaranteed with a regular-edition copy. CDJapan marks its first-press allocation as no longer available; the selected Amazon New offer does not independently confirm first-production contents. Product edition and the
