TV 終末なにしてますか?忙しいですか?救ってもらっていいですか? Blu-ray BOX
A fleeting, heartbreaking story of girls called fairy weapons and the surviving quasi-brave. The television anime WorldEnd, affectionately known as SukaSuka, receives its long-awaited Blu-ray box release.
Depicting the fleeting yet radiant days of fairy girls destined to die and their young instructor, SukaSuka moved many anime fans. The popular light novel What Do You Do at the End of the World? Are You Busy? Will You Save Us?, published by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko, first grew through readers' word of mouth and electronic books, an unusual route to popularity at the time. It received high evaluations in the 2014–2015 Light Novel Twitter Cup and the 2016 edition of This Light Novel Is Amazing!, among others. When the television anime aired in 2017, the fragile, sorrowful stories of fairy girls destined for death resonated with anime fans and earned wide support. The original novels continued after the anime with a second part and side-story series. Loved by many readers and viewers, SukaSuka now becomes a Blu-ray box.
The set contains all twelve television episodes. Its extensive extras include a newly written story by original author Akira Kareno and a box newly illustrated by original character designer ue. Alongside the author's specially written story previously included with an earlier release, it adds the new story The Boy Who Still Knows Nothing — his starting point. The newly illustrated ue box, newly recorded commentaries in which Akira Kareno and director Junichi Wada discuss episodes 1 and 12, and a special booklet combining and re-editing leaflets from earlier releases make this an extensive edition for fans of the novels and the anime alike.
Regular inclusions: a box newly illustrated by original character designer ue; a digipak newly illustrated by character designer Toru Imanishi; Akira Kareno's stories The Girl Who Still Knows Nothing — before the encounter and The Boy Who Still Knows Nothing — his starting point, the latter newly written for this edition; new audio commentaries for episodes 1 and 12, featuring original author Akira Kareno and director Junichi Wada; a special booklet; and video extras comprising the creditless opening and ending, promotional videos and television commercials. The Girl Who Still Knows Nothing, the booklet and the video extras reprint material from previous releases.
Includes all twelve episodes.
In a world after the land has been ravaged by unidentified monsters known as Beasts, humanity and many other races have been destroyed. The races that barely survived abandoned the surface and live on the flying archipelago called Regul Aire. Five hundred years later, Willem Kmetsch awakens in the sky. Unable to protect what he wanted to protect, and despairing that he alone has survived, he lives like a recluse. Then a weapons-management job that he unexpectedly begins brings him into contact with a group of girls.
