XG follows NEW DNA with AWE, its second mini album. After introducing the X-GENE identity and the group's distinctive world, the music reaches outward as a way to communicate more closely with listeners.
The album's concept follows the fear and curiosity people feel when encountering something unfamiliar, and the sense of awe that can emerge as they accept it. Its eight tracks aim to bring that experience into everyday life, from HOWL and HOWLING to IYKYK, IN THE RAIN and IS THIS LOVE.
This Regular Version represents the identity of the group as a whole. Its paper jacket holds the eight-track CD, including SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT and WOKE UP REMIXX with Jay Park, OZworld, AKLO, Paloalto, VERBAL, Awich, Tak and Dok2.
