YMO Technodon in Tokyo Dome Blu-ray + SACD Hybrid

Released to commemorate the fortieth anniversary of YMO's formation, this set brings the June 1993 Tokyo Dome concert, held immediately after the release of their final studio album Technodon, to Blu-ray for the first time.

The HD-remastered video uses FORS upconversion based on careful analysis of the picture characteristics by experienced image-improvement engineers. GOH HOTODA remixed and mastered the audio from the original analog multitrack tapes in 96 kHz, 24-bit sound. The special package pairs the Blu-ray with an audio-only SACD hybrid, also marking the recording's first SACD release.

The fusion of Technodon's ambient pieces with Daizaburo Harada's computer graphics remains fresh, while bold arrangements of older classics such as Castalia, Behind the Mask and La Femme Chinoise are highlights. The original recording was released in 1993.

The Blu-ray program contains Be a Superman, Nanga Def, Floating Away, Dolphinicity, I Tre Merli, Hi-Tech Hippies, Castalia, Behind the Mask, La Femme Chinoise, Nostalgia, Silence of Time, Waterford, O.K., Chance - Rydeen Ending, Pocketful of Rainbows, Tong Poo and Fire Cracker. Video extras include the reunion press conference and television spots for Hi-Tech Hippies and Be a Superman.

The SACD contains Be a Superman, Nanga Def, Floating Away, Dolphinicity, I Tre Merli, Hi-Tech Hippies, Castalia, Behind the Mask, La Femme Chinoise, Waterford, Chance - Rydeen Ending, Tong Poo and Fire Cracker.
