Mashin Sentai Kiramager TV Series

A first in Super Sentai history: an evil heroine from Mashin Sentai Kiramager gets her own spin-off! 'Good children must not watch: we're going all out!'

Yodonna, played by Nashiko Momotsuki, was discarded by Emperor Yodon, to whom she had devoted her loyalty, and disappeared during the final battle against the Kiramagers. To return to life, she must absorb energy from a living human. She targets her former enemy Kiramai Red, played by Rio Komiya, but mistakenly connects to his classmate Mizuki Kakihara, played by Mizuki Saiba, a high-school girl enjoying a fulfilling life.

The timing could hardly be worse: the Mizuki she happens to possess is being pursued by the Kuchinawa yakuza gang. Mizuki's older brother, detective Shosuke, played by Yosuke Kishi, had stored evidence of the gang's crimes on his smartphone, but accidentally switched it with hers. If Mizuki dies, Yodonna cannot be resurrected, so she reluctantly borrows Mizuki's body to escape the danger. Mizuki is delighted by Yodonna's abilities, calling them unfairly powerful. Through their experiences, Yodonna begins learning from Mizuki about emotions she had never known. What fate awaits the two?

The regular-edition Blu-ray contains both Yodonna and Yodonna 2, originally streamed in August and September 2021, with sixty-four minutes of main footage. Extras include Making in Yodonna: Blu-ray Special Edition, a digest of the September 4 event and trailers.

The cast includes Nashiko Momotsuki, Mizuki Saiba, Yosuke Kishi, Yu Kamio, Hideo Ishiguro, Saori Izawa, Koji Saikawa, Moe Amatsuka, Yume Nikaido, Jackie-chan and Kentaro Shimazu. Voice appearances include Hiroshi Kamiya, Hisao Egawa and Yasuhiro Takato, with Rio Komiya and Rui Kihara also appearing.
