Artwork reproductions and installation views are accompanied by a detailed chronology and a list of works. Critical essays consider Nara after the Great East Japan Earthquake, reflect philosophically on his practice, and examine the importance of music through an essay structured like the four sides of a double album.
Published by Seigensha under the supervision of Aomori Museum of Art, this 348-page volume presents its text in both Japanese and English.
