You Make Me Dance Hongyeon Blu-ray

A dance student and a debt collector begin sharing a rooftop room in this Korean romance from W-Story, the production company behind Where Your Eyes Linger, starring Han Gi-chan and Jang Eui-soo. Director So Joon-moon also made Everglow, with Go Doo-shim and Ji Hyun-woo, which drew attention after its invitation to the Busan International Film Festival. Leads Choo Young-woo and Won Hyung-hoon were students at Korea National University of Arts, South Korea’s first four-year national arts university and the training ground for many performers.

It is Song Si-on’s twenty-second birthday, and his unexpected visitor is rather more dramatic than a birthday present: loan collector Jin Hong-seok has come to demand repayment. The ten million won Si-on borrowed for his mother’s wedding two years earlier has doubled, leaving him owing twenty million.

Si-on declares that he will pass an audition in a month and use the opportunity to repay his debt. Asking Hong-seok to believe in his potential as a dancer and wait just one month, he suddenly begins dancing in front of him. Hong-seok knows nothing about dance and initially thinks Si-on can do whatever he likes—yet, for reasons he cannot explain, tears come to his eyes. He finds himself accepting the proposal and waiting until the audition.

The edition includes a twenty-four-page photo book filled with previously unpublished photographs, three photographic prints and a slipcase. Supplementary material brings together the film edit, a kiss-scene collection, character profiles, Si-on and Hong-seok’s questions and answers, messages, visual commentary and making-of footage, including material previously unreleased in Japan.
