Yowamushi Pedal Animation

The road-racing story of Yowamushi Pedal follows Sakamichi Onoda, a high-school student who loves manga and anime, as he meets his cycling-club companions and grows within the world of competitive racing. Its fifth television season, Limit Break, brings the struggle for a second consecutive Inter-High victory to its final phase.

In his first year, Sakamichi led Sohoku High School to the overall championship. Now he, Imaizumi and Naruko are second-year students, aiming to repeat that success with a new team under captain Teshima.

At the summer Inter-High, Hakone Academy burns to avenge last year’s defeat. Led by its new captain Izumida, the former champions take one result after another and regain their commanding presence. Facing them, Sohoku becomes the challenger once again and finds itself in a difficult position.

The final day of the race begins. Midousuji of Kyoto Fushimi, who took the second day’s finish, moves into a new phase with a strategy focused solely on victory. As every team’s fighting spirit rises, Sakamichi puts his trust in the bonds and hopes carried forward with his companions.

Who will summon their last reserves of strength, break through their limits and cross the glorious finish line? The promised moment has arrived.

This limited-edition presentation includes an original audio drama, an illustrated sticker sheet and a collection of setting material and key animation, accompanied by promotional video extras.
