Yui Asaka 35th Anniversary Kimi ga Zutto Miteiru Limited Blu-ray + 3CD Box

A four-disc box celebrates Yui Asaka's thirty-fifth anniversary since her June 21, 1985 debut. This limited-production edition brings together five video releases from her Hummingbird years on Blu-ray for the first time, plus three CDs and a special anniversary booklet.

Only Yui, released in 1987, is her first video. It includes every single from her debut Natsu Shojo through her seventh single Hitomi ni Storm, together with To Be Late, then a new song created for the video. Footage of a department-store mini concert is also included.

Candid Girl - Yui Asaka in Australia, released in 1988, is an image video for the hit album Candid Girl, filmed entirely in Australia. It features many songs from the album, including the major hit C-Girl, with narration by Asaka.

Fun! Fan! Fun! Yui Graffiti, released in 1989, follows a day in Asaka's life. It also includes footage from the summer 1988 Vitamin C tour, looking back over all her singles. Rock 'n' Roll Circus '89: Yui Asaka Sparkling Live, also released in 1989, is her first live video. It records the tour's final Tokyo Kosei Nenkin Kaikan performances on October 25 and 26, 1989, with a parade of hit singles including C-Girl, Cecil and Believe Again.

Self Control, released in 1990, is a music-video collection. It marks the first commercial release of Yoru ga Akeru Made, a radio program's ending theme.

The second and third discs restore two rare live CDs from the Hummingbird years that had become unavailable. 1989.8.23 Yui Asaka Special Live in Osaka records the August 23 Osaka performance of the Rock 'n' Roll Circus '89 tour, at a different venue from the live video. It was included as disc eleven of the 1993 Yui Asaka Daizenshu: The Complete Box.

Anniversary 2824 records the commemorative concert at Club Citta Kawasaki on March 14, 1993, before her career break. It includes Sasou Haru no Kaze, a new song created for the concert. The number 2824 is the number of days between her debut and this performance. The fourth disc is a special CD containing a new thirty-fifth-anniversary song, conceived with her future beyond this milestone in mind as a forthcoming live staple.

The forty-four-page anniversary booklet looks back over her career through photographs selected by Asaka herself, including previously unpublished images. It includes 10,000 Japanese characters of anniversary liner notes, a conversation between Asaka and Hummingbird-era production director Yamamoto, and an interview with SUNNY, producer of the new anniversary song.
