Yumi Matsutoya Concert Tour Shinkai no Machi Blu-ray

This long-awaited video release records the performance at Tokyo International Forum Hall A from the tour accompanying Yumi Matsutoya's 39th original album, Shinkai no Machi. Delayed approximately ten months from its original schedule by the COVID-19 pandemic, the tour ran for ten months from September 2021 to July 2022, with 63 performances.

The album was created from a desire to deliberately preserve a record of the mood of the pandemic. The complete show weaves its songs and nostalgic favorites into a single story. The Blu-ray release adds Sotsugyo Shashin, performed as the third encore, to present the full 23-song version.

Disc 1 begins with Kageriyuku Heya, Grace Slick no Shozo, 1920, Notre Dame, Shinkai no Machi, Kanna Hachigo-sen, Zutto Soba ni, What to do? waa woo, Shiranai Doshi, Anata to Watashi to and REBORN - Taiyo yo Tomatte. It continues with Chirite Nao, Ame no Machi o, Hikokigumo, NIKE - The goddess of victory, LATE SUMMER LAKE, Hello, my friend, ANNIVERSARY and Mizu no Kage.

The first encore features Aoi Fune de and Sora to Umi no Kagayaki ni Mukete. The second encore is Futari no Pirates, followed by Sotsugyo Shashin as the third encore.

Disc 2 contains the approximately 47-minute bonus documentary TOURING WITH YUMING. It goes beyond the creation of the stage and backstage footage, exploring the tour through interviews with the management staff who have watched the artist more closely than anyone. A booklet with a photo-book presentation is included.
