Zanki Zero Official Design Works Artbook brings together the development materials behind the game's ruined world and the events leading to humanity's collapse. Illustrations of all 12 main and supporting characters show their different growth stages, expressions and actions, alongside images originally commissioned for various media.
Character and creature designs, drifting-ruin settings, rough sketches and event-scene storyboards are accompanied by staff commentary. These materials connect the finished illustrations with the decisions made during development.
The book also reproduces the complete journal texts that tell additional stories, the TIPS text, character dialogue and the full in-game strategy text. Edited by the Dengeki Game Books Editorial Department and published by Kadokawa, this Japanese-language collection contains 272 pages.
