Before You Order
Official Japanese Products
HobbyTiger product information is based on Japanese manufacturer, publisher, supplier, and trusted retailer data. Unless a product page clearly says otherwise, items are official Japanese releases or officially licensed goods sourced from Japan.
Availability And Order Changes
Products marked as available can usually be prepared for shipment after payment is confirmed. In rare cases, a product may sell out at the supplier or manufacturer level before our system is updated. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible with the available options.
Orders can be changed only when they have not yet entered packing, supplier confirmation, or shipment preparation.
Stock Display
In rare cases, a product that cannot actually be ordered may appear as available because product information was not updated in time or because of a system error. If this happens, the product cannot be supplied and the order may be cancelled even after checkout is completed.
Products where the “Sold out” or “Pre-order Finished” button is greyed on the product page cannot be ordered. HobbyTiger does not provide individual updates about resale, reproduction, restocking, sales resuming, or cancellation waiting lists.
Purchase Quantity Limits
To provide products to as many customers as possible, HobbyTiger may set purchase quantity limits on certain items. Orders exceeding the purchase quantity limit may be cancelled.
The purchase quantity limit applies across all orders connected to the same address, customer details, or orders that HobbyTiger judges to be effectively from the same customer. If a customer intentionally tries to exceed the limit by creating multiple accounts or using multiple shipping addresses, HobbyTiger may suspend transactions with that customer.
Currency At Checkout
Prices are shown in the currency selected on the store when available. Your final payment can vary depending on payment provider, card issuer, exchange rate, and checkout settings.
Prices
HobbyTiger prices are based on Japanese source prices, market availability, product category, and international handling requirements. Prices may change over time due to supplier updates, exchange-rate movement, manufacturer changes, or stock availability.
If a product price changes after your order is placed, the original order price will normally remain unchanged. Price drops after purchase cannot be applied retroactively.
Product Images And Details
Product photos, dimensions, package contents, bonuses, and specifications are based on official manufacturer or Japanese retailer information. Final products may differ slightly from prototype images or early promotional photos.
For figures and collectibles, minor manufacturing variations may occur. These are generally considered part of the production process unless the item is clearly damaged or defective.
Pre-Orders
Pre-orders are items announced before their Japanese release. Payment is required at checkout to reserve stock, and the order remains active until the item becomes available for fulfillment.
Release Dates, Delays, And Cancellations
Manufacturer and publisher delays are common for figures, collectibles, books, games, and character goods. Release dates for hobby products may be delayed by several months, and in rare cases a release date may move forward or the product release itself may be cancelled.
If a release date changes, your order normally remains active and ships after the item becomes available. If the product release itself is cancelled because of production issues at the manufacturer, HobbyTiger may contact you by email and cancel the affected order.
Supply Reductions
For pre-order items, rare cases may occur where HobbyTiger cannot supply the item because the incoming quantity from the manufacturer or wholesaler was reduced. If we become unable to provide the item because of a reduced incoming quantity, we may contact you by email and cancel your order.
Bonuses And Combined Pre-Orders
Pre-order bonuses are included only when clearly listed on the product page or confirmed by the supplier. Orders with multiple pre-orders may ship once all items are available unless split shipping is arranged, and additional shipping fees may apply.
In-Stock And Pre-Order Items Together
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, the full order may ship once all items are available unless split shipping is arranged separately.
Pre-Order Cancellations
Pre-orders are placed with Japanese suppliers and manufacturers to secure limited stock. Because of this, cancellations are not always possible after a pre-order has been confirmed.
If you need to cancel a pre-order, please contact HobbyTiger support before the item is released. We will review the request based on the product status, supplier terms, and how close the item is to release.
Pre-orders close to release, already secured from a supplier, or already being prepared for shipment may not be eligible for cancellation. Manufacturer delays do not automatically qualify an order for free cancellation.
Shipping From Japan
HobbyTiger ships from Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Available destinations and shipping methods depend on current services from Japan, destination country, package size, weight, item type, and carrier availability.
Delivery Timing
Delivery time depends on shipping method, destination country, customs processing, courier handoff, and local postal service. Pre-orders also require the item to release and arrive for fulfillment first.
Tracking Issues
After your order ships, you will receive tracking information when available. Tracking updates may take several days to appear depending on the shipping method, courier, destination country, customs processing, and local postal service.
If your tracking has not updated for an unusual amount of time, please first check with your local postal service or courier. If they cannot help, contact HobbyTiger support and we will assist where possible.
Returned Packages
If a package is returned because of an incorrect address, refusal, unpaid customs fees, or missed collection, additional shipping fees may be required to resend it. Original shipping fees are generally not refundable.
Wrong Address, Refused Delivery, Or Unclaimed Packages
Please make sure your shipping address is complete and correct before placing your order. Shipping fees are generally not refundable when a package is returned due to address issues, refusal, customs non-payment, or missed collection.
Lost Packages
If a package appears to be lost, HobbyTiger may need to request an investigation with the courier or postal service. Investigation times vary by country and shipping method, and the process can take several weeks or longer.
Refunds, replacements, or compensation can only be reviewed after the courier investigation is complete. Orders shipped with uninsured or limited-compensation shipping methods may not be eligible for full reimbursement if the carrier confirms loss or damage outside the covered amount.
Customs & Import Taxes
Orders are shipped from Japan. Depending on your country or region, customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or handling fees may be charged by your local authorities or courier.
These charges are not included in the product price unless clearly stated at checkout, and they are the responsibility of the customer. HobbyTiger cannot pay those fees on your behalf after import processing begins.
Declared Value
HobbyTiger must declare accurate order information for international shipping and customs documents. We cannot lower the declared value or mark purchases as gifts.
Product Condition & Damage
Unless a product page clearly says otherwise, new figures and collectibles are sold as new items. Packaging style and sealing can vary by manufacturer, product line, and release.
Box And Item Damage
Minor outer-box wear can occur during manufacturing, distribution, or international shipping. If the product box or item itself arrives damaged, contact support within 3 days of delivery and keep the item, product box, shipping box, and packing materials until the case is reviewed.
Damage Claim Photos
Please include your order number and photos of the shipping box, shipping label, packing materials, product box, damaged area, and the full item where possible.
Damaged Packages
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. Include your order number, photos of the shipping box, photos of the packing materials, photos of the damaged product or product box, and a clear description of the issue.
Please keep all packaging until the case is resolved, as the courier or manufacturer may require evidence.
Manufacturer Defects
For brand-new figures, goods, and collectibles, some defects may be caused during manufacturing rather than shipping. If your item has a suspected manufacturing defect, contact us within 3 days of delivery with clear photos and a description.
Where possible, HobbyTiger may help contact the manufacturer or supplier, but replacement parts or support are subject to the manufacturer's decision and availability.
Japanese Import Video Games
Compatibility depends on the platform, console region settings, account region, DLC region, online service rules, language support, and publisher restrictions. Please check the product details and your console's import compatibility before ordering.

Many modern physical games are playable across regions, but DLC, online services, save compatibility, age ratings, and language support can still vary.
Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
In-stock cancellations may be possible before packing, dispatch preparation, or shipment, but orders already being processed or shipped cannot always be cancelled.
In-Stock Orders
Please contact us as quickly as possible if you need to cancel an order. Once an order has entered packing, dispatch preparation, or shipment, cancellation may no longer be possible.
If cancellation is approved before dispatch, payment processing fees or administrative costs may be deducted from the refund where applicable. Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled.
Return Approval
All returns must be approved by HobbyTiger support before being sent back. Please do not return an item without contacting us first.
Return requests should be made within 7 days of delivery. Approved returns must be shipped back within the timeframe provided by our support team.
Return Conditions
Returned items must be complete and in the same condition as received. New products must be unopened and factory sealed where applicable, with product boxes, accessories, manuals, bonus items, and inserts included.
The item must be packed securely for international return shipping, the return must use a trackable shipping method, and the order number or invoice must be included in the return parcel.
Items that are opened, damaged, incomplete, used, or returned without approval may not be eligible for refund or exchange.
Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are normally the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to a confirmed HobbyTiger error or a verified issue with the delivered item.
Refund Timing And Fees
Approved refunds are processed after review, and for returns, after the item arrives and passes inspection. Shipping fees, customs fees, import taxes, local handling fees, and payment processing fees are generally not refundable unless the issue is confirmed as a HobbyTiger error.
Refunds are usually issued to the original payment method. In some cases, store credit may be offered as an alternative.
Final Sale Items
Some products may not be eligible for return or cancellation, including limited items, special-order goods, opened products, digital items, trading products, blind-box items, and items clearly marked as final sale.
