7SEEDS Animation

When Natsu wakes, she finds herself surrounded by the sea. Thrown into its raging waters, she reaches an island with Arashi, Semimaru and Botan. Untamed jungle covers the island, where enormous plants and increasingly ferocious animals and insects plunge them into a struggle for survival with death always close at hand.

A person claiming to be their guide reveals an extraordinary plan: to prevent humanity’s extinction, young, healthy people were cryogenically preserved so that the human race could survive in the world left after a catastrophe. Only then do Natsu and the others learn, to their shock, that they were selected for the 7SEEDS Project. Faced with harsh conditions in a transformed world, these young survivors fight desperately to stay alive.

Adapted from Yumi Tamura’s near-future survival science-fiction manga, reported at the time of this release to have more than 6.5 million copies in circulation, this first Blu-ray box collects episodes 1–12. It includes creditless opening and ending footage, a newly illustrated jacket, special booklet, special outer case and the first original soundtrack CD.
