A Condition Called Love Animation

First-year high-school student Hotaru Hinase is blessed with family and friends, but romance has always felt a little distant. One day, she witnesses the handsome Hananoi from the neighbouring class being rejected. Later, seeing him standing alone in a park, she casually offers him her umbrella.

That small act leads to a very public confession: Hananoi asks Hotaru to go out with him. What does it mean to like someone, or to fall in love? Hotaru is bewildered by his sudden declaration, while Hananoi wants to do anything for the person he loves. This first-love story brings together a girl who does not understand romance and a boy whose affection knows no bounds.

Volume 3 contains episodes 9–12 and a credit-free ending sequence. It comes with a newly illustrated anime slipcase depicting a heart-fluttering moment between Hananoi and Hotaru, plus a special Blu-ray booklet.
