A Couple of Cuckoos Anime

Lives and love cross in a big way! The hugely popular romantic comedy serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine finally comes to television anime.

High-school student Nagi Umino was switched at birth and is about to meet his biological parents at last. That day, he happens to meet Erika Amano, a high-school girl at an elite girls' school. Hoping to prevent a marriage to her fiance, she more or less forces him to pretend to be her boyfriend. But these two are the children who were switched at birth, and they are each other's fiance and fiancee.

Their parents, who love both children, recognize Nagi and Erika's engagement, and the pair begin living together. Nagi is in love with classmate Hiro Segawa, while Erika rebels against her father. They agree not to interfere in each other's lives at all. A mismatched, chaotic romantic comedy of crossing lives begins!

This second Blu-ray volume contains episodes four through six. Video extras include the first creditless ending sequence and web previews.

Kaito Ishikawa voices Nagi Umino, Akari Kito voices Erika Amano, Nao Toyama voices Hiro Segawa, Konomi Kohara voices Sachi Umino, Ryohei Kimura voices Yohei Umino, Yoko Hikasa voices Namie Umino, Toshiyuki Morikawa voices Soichiro Amano and Yukiko Aruga voices Ritsuko Amano.

The original first pressing included an illustrated box to hold volumes one through four, an illustrated digipak, a leaflet and heroine photographs. These physical first-press items depend on the copy supplied.
