A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics Blu-ray BOX Part 2

An ensemble comedy that defies genre arrives. Yomi Hirasaka and Kantoku, the duo behind A Sister's All You Need, bring their extraordinary new comedy to animation. Set in Gifu City, associated with Oda Nobunaga, the story is filled with local references and carefully recreates real places. Its eccentric characters make every omnibus-style encounter unpredictable, and references to other works include Detective Conan.

While tailing someone, impoverished detective Sosuke Kaburaya meets Sara, a princess from another world who can use magic. Circumstances bring them to live together, and she quickly adapts to modern Japan. Meanwhile, female knight Livia follows Sara into this world and finds herself homeless, yet enjoys unexpectedly pleasant days. The two otherworldly visitors' positive, resilient lives influence Sosuke and the local oddballs, including a ruthless lawyer, a professional relationship saboteur and a religious figure.

Makoto Furukawa plays Sosuke, Hinaki Yano plays Sara and M.A.O plays Livia. The cast includes Yo Taichi as Puriketsu, Akane Fujita as Noa Minakami, Manami Numakura as Brenda Aisaki, Yuki Takada as Yuna Naganawa, Mizuki Mano as Haruka Neya, Yoji Ueda as Isao Kusanagi, Shinnosuke Tachibana as Takeo and Kohsuke Toriumi as Suzuki. Masafumi Sato directs, with series composition and writing by Hirasaka and Kenichi Yamashita, character designs by Kazuhiro Fukuchi and animation by SynergySP and Studio Comet.

Part 2 comes in a sleeve illustrated by Kantoku and a jacket newly drawn by Fukuchi. A 20-page concluding booklet and stamp sticker are enclosed, with promotional videos and television advertising among the extras. This 144-minute region-free Blu-ray has Japanese Linear PCM 2-channel stereo audio and no subtitles.
