A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! Animation

Laid-back, passionate, shameless, noisy—and sometimes moving enough to bring tears. A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! arrives on Blu-ray.

Haruaki Abe is a timid, tearful rookie teacher. He is delighted to have achieved his dream of teaching, but his joy is short-lived: Hyakki Academy, the school where he has been assigned, is a school of yokai, run by yokai, exclusively for yokai.

Why has the principal hired Haruaki, a weak-willed, hopelessly cowardly human?

This lively, exhilarating supernatural school comedy follows the strange and boisterous everyday lives of an eccentric human teacher and an overwhelming assortment of yokai students and teachers. Class is starting!

The illustrated outer case features new artwork by the original author. A special booklet includes a newly drawn one-page manga, accompanied by a set of cards featuring original animation drawings. Recording-session footage and setting materials provide a further look behind the anime.
