ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. & Regards COMPACT Blu-ray

Celebrate the fifth anniversary of the television anime! All 12 episodes of ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. and the OVA Regards are collected in a compact Blu-ray edition, with the television series and the OVA on the other.

The stylish lives of men within an organisation. Words and glances cross in ACCA, a huge unified organisation filled with people who are difficult to read. A promise once exchanged, and the duties each must fulfil: set one year after the television anime, an original animated story depicts what happens to them afterward.

Original work by Natsume Ono, direction by Shingo Natsume, scripts by Tomohiro Suzuki, music by Ryo Takahashi and animation by Madhouse combine in dramatic ensemble entertainment. The television series originally aired from January to March 2017. Its fifth anniversary was in January 2022. This release also re-records all six bonus OVA episodes included in the Blu-ray and DVD BOX editions released in 2017.

Many people discover the work after its broadcast has ended, so this release realises the wish for an all-animation Blu-ray that makes it easy to watch every episode. Television story: ACCA is a vast unified organisation in a kingdom divided into 13 autonomous territories. Founded during an earlier threat of a coup, it has continued protecting the people's peace for almost a century. Jean Otus, deputy chief of ACCA headquarters' inspection department, is nicknamed Cigarette-Peddling Jean and is one of the organisation's most inscrutable men. Casually smoking, he travels around the 13 territories to inspect them for irregularities. Watching eyes, unsettling rumours and snack time surround him. Jean's peaceful daily life slowly becomes entangled in the world's conspiracies.

Regards story: One year has passed since the coup disturbance and the abolition of the five-chief system. A celebration marking the first anniversary of ACCA's new structure is approaching, and Jean prepares for it with Parrot, a new recruit to the inspection department. He spends busy days struggling to deal with this young man's peculiarities. While the districts are alive with festive excitement, unsettling rumours about the five former chiefs are also whispered. Then Lotta's homeroom teacher tells Jean that his sister, now growing up, has been acting strangely. Carrying a trace of unease, Jean travels on business to Birra, where he reunites with his old friend Nino after some time apart.
