ACMA:GAME Blu-ray BOX

The ultimate battle of wits, extreme psychological warfare and heated clashes of abilities: the devil's game with human beings begins. NTV's major project takes Japan to the world, recreating the ultimate death game in live action with ambitious visual effects. Distributed in more than 150 countries and territories, this survival spectacle combines overseas locations with extensive VFX.

Status, property, honor and life: the devil's game can take everything from an opponent. Collecting 99 Devil's Keys is said to give control over everything in the world. Each key has a mysterious power. Insert it and a game begins, with a demon acting as game master. Participation is compulsory, and the loser cannot refuse the winner's demand. Teruasa Oda, heir to one of Japan's leading trading companies, lost everything when an unknown man killed his father thirteen years earlier. The murderer wanted an old key. Entrusted with it before his father's death, Teruasa confronts rivals pursuing the keys and risks his life to uncover their mystery.

Shotaro Mamiya stars as Teruasa in his first lead role in an NTV primetime serial drama. Juri Tanaka plays his friend Ui Saito, Kotone Furukawa plays Yuki Manabe, Ryo Ryusei plays unpredictable genius gambler Senya Uesugi and Yukiyoshi Ozawa plays Teruasa's greatest enemy, Kuzushin Inori. The cast also includes Rina Arashi, Shota Masuda of s**t kingz, Shodai Fukuyama, Ryotaro Sakaguchi, Jun Hashimoto and Koji Kikkawa.

The VFX characters are another highlight. Junichi Suwabe voices the enormous horned demon Gado, Maaya Sakamoto plays the noble owl-like Corzia, Yuichi Nakamura plays the eye-shaped demon Elva and Kana Hanazawa voices Orochi, Yuki's endearing next-generation communication AI. Based on Meeb and Koji Megumi's Kodansha manga, the drama is written by Yoshihiro Izumi and Junichiro Taniguchi, with music by Yugo Kanno, the theme MEMORIES of the End by UVERworld and the insert song GONG by SixTONES.

Five main-program Blu-rays contain approximately 495 minutes. A bonus Blu-ray provides approximately 90 minutes of rare making-of footage following the filming, and a booklet is enclosed. Japanese Linear PCM 2-channel stereo audio and Japanese subtitles accompany the main program.
