Aikatsu! Animation

Relive the excitement of Aikatsu!’s popular Unit Cup arc. Selected episodes from the television anime’s third season are re-edited for a theatrical presentation in Aikatsu! Memorial Stage: The Shining Unit Cup. The release also includes Aikatsu Restaurant, the companion feature that brings together characters from Akari’s generation for a play within the story, as well as the additional footage shown in cinemas.

Starlight Academy’s junior-high division announces the Unit Cup, and eight eager idol units prepare to compete. This event also introduces a special segment in which the idols report on one another’s candid, behind-the-scenes personalities. With competition running hotter than ever, the curtain rises on the Unit Cup.

The original cast returns for newly recorded commentaries. Aikatsu Restaurant features Shino Shimoji, Yu Wakui and Yui Ishikawa; Their Name Is Amafuwa Nadeshiko features Kanae Ito and Akira Sekine; Exciting Unit Cup features Yui Ishikawa and Aya Saito; and The Radiance of Their True Selves features Shino Shimoji and Chihiro Kawakami. The package includes a sleeve case and four unit postcards using the theatrical key visuals, featuring Skips, Dancing Diva, Jounetsu Jalapeno and Amafuwa Nadeshiko.
