Voice actor Aimi Tanaka develops her musical identity on Kuhaku, her second mini-album, created with emerging musicians. Neko Hacker returns from her debut release with its kawaii future rock approach, joined by songwriter yucat and arranger Naoki Endo.
Tanaka again writes lyrics herself. The title, meaning a blank space, reflects a period of self-examination: wondering what she truly wants to do, what she can offer, and how to fill an inner emptiness rather than continue feeling unfulfilled.
jam, Hitsujigusa, Milk Puzzle and Lavender Lullaby are followed by instrumental versions of all four songs.
