ALESTE COLLECTION Music Album 3CD

ALESTE COLLECTION: Music Album revives the lineage of Aleste music with the striking impact of G: a storm of shooting-game sound across three CDs and 103 tracks.

It covers all five games in Aleste Collection: Aleste for the Sega Mark III (1988), Power Strike II for the overseas Master System (1993), GG Aleste (1991), GG Aleste II (1993) and GG Aleste 3 (2020), the entirely new Game Gear title created for the collection. Every game's background music was newly recorded from its original Sega hardware.

GG Aleste 3 was recorded from an actual Game Gear under the complete supervision of sound designer Manabu Namiki, the game's development director and composer of its entire score. Enjoy his latest shooting-game music in full.

The album also includes the arrangements created for Aleste Collection and the menu music from Game Gear Micro White, recorded using Game Gear hardware. Two newly created self-remixes by GG Aleste composer Keiji "KG TAKEUCHI" Takeuchi appear as special additional tracks.

The booklet contains comments from sound designers including Takeuchi and Namiki, plus a newly drawn contribution from Hiroki "Daigattai" Kodama, planner and graphic artist on GG Aleste and GG Aleste II. The three CDs are housed in a tall case.

Some tracks contain noise characteristic of the original game hardware.
