With But wait. Cats?, their first original album in around four years, released in July 2022, [Alexandros] embarked on their first nationwide hall tour, But wait. Tour? 2022. Maintaining that momentum, they followed it with the But wait. Arena? 2022 arena tour through Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.

The tour's two final shows took place at Yoyogi National First Gymnasium, where a concert planned for January 2021 to close their tenth debut anniversary had been cancelled because of the pandemic. This release captures the December 8 finale at the venue, marking a fresh start and a return to the stage they had been unable to play.

Following revisions to the infection-prevention guidelines, audiences at Yoyogi were able to raise their voices under specified conditions. [Alexandros] could fully unleash their strengths in this tour finale, and this recording preserves the excitement and lingering atmosphere of the performance.
