Usamaru Furuya's Amane Gymnasium receives its first stage adaptation, directed by Kensaku Kobayashi of the Teiichi no Kuni stage series. Seven ball-jointed dolls now begin to move on stage!

The original manga ran in Kodansha's Morning Two from 2017 to 2020. Its protagonist, Amane Miyakata, devotes herself to making dolls while working as a temporary employee. Using clay given to her by the art-supply shop she frequents, she creates seven ball-jointed dolls modeled on the gymnasium students she drew in junior high school, setting the story in motion.

Amane Gymnasium Onstage is written by Yusuke Watanabe, known for the films The Fable, Attack on Titan and 20th Century Boys, and directed by Kensaku Kobayashi, who directed the Gakuran Kageki: Teiichi no Kuni stage series.

Twenty-seven-year-old Amane Miyakata works as a temporary employee and a doll artist. With old clay she received from an art-supply shop, she creates seven boy dolls based on a German boarding school, a gymnasium. Remembering the shopkeeper's words that the clay holds a secret, Amane kisses the dolls. Light shines from them, and they begin to move. She then finds herself inside the ideal gymnasium world she imagined in her second year of junior high school. Amane delights in watching the boys' youth unfold, but the backgrounds she created for them cause a deep rift between the boys.

The Blu-ray includes the stage performance and special footage, called Speziell. The extras feature a documentary following the opening and final performances, wide shots of four singing scenes, and the after-show event Hokago Gymnasium, covering its entrance and graduation ceremonies. The four songs are Gymnasium e Yokoso, Bokutachi wa Ugokidashita, Kimi o Aishiteru and Shiawase ni Natte. A memory album is enclosed.

The Team Pretzel cast features Beiri Oki as Felix Schulz, Toman as Johann Berg, Kengo Hata as Theo Apfel, Shota Matsuda as Sepp Singvogel, Yuto Fukazawa as Damian Besenmann, Kazuki Honma as Otto Gutensohn and Takuya Yashiro as Elmer Kuchen.

The Amane Bi Jungs are played by Naoki Oguro, Fumito Tamamoto and Rikuto Takahashi. These beautiful classmates were created to make Amane's gymnasium even more dazzling. Yui Ishikawa provides the voice of Amane Miyakata. Contents and product specifications are subject to change.
