Ameagari no Bokura ni Tsuite Blu-ray Box

Shinichiro Kanade works in publishing sales in Tokyo and keeps his sexuality hidden after painful experiences in his school years. He has decided not to fall in love again. Taking shelter from the rain in a cafe, however, he unexpectedly encounters Kosuke Mashiro, his closest friend from high school and the person for whom he once had feelings he could not express. Six years have passed. Mashiro is delighted and begins contacting him eagerly, while Kanade repeatedly refuses to respond. Their reunion gradually forces both men to confront the past and reconsider who they have become, sometimes hurting one another as they try to find an honest way forward.

Masashi Ikeda and Natsuki Hori of FANTASTICS star in this adaptation of Shoko Rakuta's manga, with Miho Watanabe, Reika Kirishima, Wataru Takasugi and Maho Yamada. Nobuyoshi Yamada and Masashi Asami direct, Satoko Okazaki writes the screenplay, and Yuri Habuka provides the music. Karanoah performs the opening theme "aquarium", while SG supplies the ending theme "Petrichor". The drama was produced by TV Tokyo and AX-ON.

All 12 episodes are included across three main-programme discs, with a fourth disc containing the making-of feature, outtakes and a special on-set conversation between Ikeda and Hori. A booklet and a postcard illustrated by Rakuta accompany the box. The 300-minute main programme is presented with Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo and Japanese accessibility subtitles for the episodes.
