Anna's debut album returns on UHQCD after her emergence through Toshiki Kadomatsu's VOCALAND project. Kadomatsu produces its composition and arrangements, with meticulous detail and polished pop craftsmanship that reveal the strengths of a singer already recognized for her ability at just twenty-one.
Designed to establish Anna both as a fully fledged vocalist and an album artist, the record presents her voice through richly varied arrangements. Refined R&B, breezy driving music, Latin touches and other international flavors make the listening sequence colorful, sophisticated and enjoyable.
This reissue adds three recordings not on the original album: the single version of Colors, Modorimichi in the Kadomatsu T. Special Chorus Version, and Anna STARS On!. New liner notes come from Toshikazu Kanazawa, the music writer associated with Light Mellow and the revival of city pop.
