Ano Hito ga Kieta Deluxe Edition Blu-ray

Ano Hito ga Kieta Deluxe Edition Blu-ray draws delivery driver Maruko into a building where residents are rumoured to disappear. Fumiya Takahashi plays the courier, who suspects that tenant Komiya is the author of the online novel he loves. His admiration turns to concern when another resident, Shimazaki, begins to look like a stalker.

With help from his colleague Arakawa, an aspiring novelist played by Kei Tanaka, Maruko questions the neighbours. Reports of a bloodied woman and stained clothing convince him that Komiya is in danger. He enters Shimazaki's room to investigate, only to meet its occupant returning home. As detectives pursuing a major case approach the building, the mystery veers in an unexpected direction. Written and directed by Itaru Mizuno, the film also stars Kana Kita, Shota Sometani and Maki Sakai.

The deluxe set includes making footage, Maruko Camera, recorded cast appearances, two interview features pairing Takahashi with Sometani and Tanaka, and trailers. An audio commentary brings Takahashi together with Mizuno. A booklet and specially produced trading card accompany the two-disc edition.

The region-free release contains the approximately 104-minute film plus supplements, with Japanese Dolby Audio 5.1 and 2.0 tracks. Japanese audio description and Japanese subtitles are provided for the main feature.
