April Showers Bring May Flowers Blu-ray Box Part 2

Hana Tabata dreams of the kind of romance she reads about in shojo manga, but she has little confidence in her appearance and expects love to pass her by. Usually hidden away in a corner of the classroom, she finds her quiet school life changing when the popular Yosuke Ueno catches her in an embarrassing moment early one morning. Their encounter draws her into conversations with Yosuke and her classmates, filling her once-lonely days with new friendships, comic mishaps and the possibility of romance.

Part 2 contains episodes 7-13, with approximately 165 minutes of main content. Extras include the creditless ending, mini-anime episodes 7-13 and the animated sequence for the episode 11 insert song "Boku kara Kimi e." Saori Hayami, Shinba Tsuchiya and Tasuku Hatanaka provide special commentaries for episodes 11 and 13. A newly illustrated anime slipcase and special booklet accompany the disc.

Saori Hayami voices Hana Tabata, Shinba Tsuchiya plays Yosuke Ueno, Yoshino Aoyama plays Sumire Uguisudani, Yoshimasa Hosoya plays Tetsuo Gotanda, Tasuku Hatanaka plays Tsutomu Shinbashi, Makoto Koichi plays Keisuke Ueno and Yuki Takada plays Ayaka Otsuka. Adapted from Roku Sakura's manga, the series is directed and structured by Mirai Minato, with character designs by Miwa Oshima, supporting-character designs by Beat and animation by SILVER LINK.

The production team includes prop designer Moe Tanaka, art director Hidenori Nakahara, 3D art-object designer Yoshiteru Enomoto, colour designer Akira Igarashi, director of photography Yuko Shintani, editor Yuji Kondo of REAL-T and sound director Masaki Tsuchiya. Yuki Hayashi and Shogo Yamashiro compose the music, with score production by en:Stereo. TWS performs the opening theme "BLOOM (feat. Ayumu Imazu)," and GLASGOW performs the ending theme "Souvenir." Main audio is Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo, and the edition has no subtitles.
