Arrogance and Virtue Deluxe Edition Blu-ray
映画 傲慢と善良 Blu-ray豪華版
What lies and memories from his fiancée’s past would he rather never have discovered? The biggest bestseller of 2023 becomes a moving romantic mystery about the once-in-a-lifetime choice its characters finally reach. Seen from the perspectives of both a man and a woman, it reveals the realities of contemporary attitudes toward love and marriage. Arrogance and Virtue is a love story that challenges deeply held values.
Kakeru Nishizawa has always enjoyed success in both work and romance. When his long-term girlfriend leaves him, he begins looking for a marriage partner through a dating app. There he meets Mami Sakaniwa, a reserved, considerate woman, and they start dating. Even after a year together, however, he has not been able to commit to marriage.
One day, Kakeru learns that a stalker is targeting Mami. Determined to protect her, he finally decides to become engaged, only for Mami to disappear without warning. Searching for her, he visits her parents, friends, colleagues and former lovers. Along the way, he uncovers the past and the lies he never wanted to know.
