Avataro Sentai Donbrothers TV Series

The first Blu-ray Collection arrives packed with extras. A hero unlike anything seen before is born from the Japanese folktale Momotaro. Just as Momotaro defeated demons with a monkey, dog and pheasant at his side, Don Momotaro in red fights evil alongside Saru Brother in blue, Inu Brother in black, Kiji Brother in pink and Oni Sister in yellow.

These warriors have an unprecedented mix of appearances and mismatched teamwork in Super Sentai history. The five fighters load avatar data called Avataro and use Avataro Gears to Avatar Change into the Donbrothers. They can also take on the forms of previous Super Sentai heroes. They protect people from Hitotsuki, monsters born from human desires, and from the mysterious Noto organization, which seeks to erase the Hitotsuki together with their human hosts.

Kaito Goshikida from the previous series, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, returns in a new guise as Zenkaizer Black to support the Donbrothers. The main writer is Toshiki Inoue, the master storyteller behind Kamen Rider 555 and many other legendary productions. MORISAKI WIN performs the theme song that brings the series to life.

The video extras pair cast members with suit actors for free-flowing discussions of their characters while watching the episodes. They also feature the popular opening dance, Minna de Odoro! Donbra Dance!, and the production announcement press conference. Disc one contains episodes 1 through 6, and disc two contains episodes 7 through 12.

Disc one's final bonus program includes DON REAL visual commentary: Don to Don with Kohei Higuchi and Kosuke Asai, and Kiji no Tsudoi with Hirofumi Suzuki, Masashi Takada and Nagisa Tabata, followed by the production announcement press conference.

Disc two includes Avataro Sentai Donbrothers meets Kamen Rider Den-O: Mezase! Don-O; Avataro Sentai Donbrothers meets Senpaiger; and the spin-off Kore ga Donbrothers no Nanori da! Avataro no Honto no Sugata!? Further extras include Dance no Gokui, Minna de Odoro! Donbra Dance!, the opening without superimposed credits, promotional videos and the Don data file.

The cast includes Kohei Higuchi, Yuki Beppu, Kohaku Shida, Totaro, Hirofumi Suzuki, Yuya Tominaga, Amisa Miyazaki, Shinnosuke Takahashi, Kiita Komagine and Soko Wada. The original first pressing included a box for all collection volumes and an eight-page booklet; these limited extras depend on first-press copy availability.
