Ayaka Is in Love with Hiroko 2nd Stage Blu-ray Box

A junior colleague who never gives up meets a senior colleague who refuses to fall for her!

Shiho Kato and Kanna Mori return in the leading roles. Does getting together mean a happy ending? For these two, that is where life together really begins! The misunderstandings keep coming in this irresistibly cute girls’ love comedy.

The first season of Ayaka Is in Love with Hiroko attracted a major response in Japan and overseas, especially on social media. It placed highly in late-night drama and Filmarks satisfaction rankings, reached number one worldwide in the girls’ love category and number five across all genres, including boys’ love, on GagaOOLala, and won South America’s HUB Award. Ayaka’s headlong pursuit finally softened the determined Hiroko’s heart. In 2nd Stage, their misunderstandings continue as the story explores what happens after they become a couple.

Under original author Sal Jiang’s supervision, the sequel develops an original story beyond the manga. The setting moves between the home where Ayaka and Hiroko have begun living together and Spa Resort Hawaiians, which they visit for Hiroko’s younger sister’s wedding. Ayaka worries that they have yet to spend their first intimate night together, while Hiroko, having lost her memory after drinking to build up her courage, mistakenly believes that the night already happened. Their frustrating but lovable life as a couple unfolds through the Hawaiians and living-together arcs.

Ayaka is deeply in love with Hiroko, her senior colleague at the same company. Each had assumed that the other was straight, but Ayaka’s relentless advances finally brought them together.

A year later, Ayaka has moved into Hiroko’s home. Hiroko treasures her so much that she vows never to hurt her and will not rush into physical intimacy, showering her with affection instead. Ayaka, meanwhile, grows uneasy because Hiroko never makes a move.

One misunderstanding leads to another, and the two keep missing each other’s intentions. For different reasons, they find themselves heading to Hawaiians…!
