Battle Athletes Victory ReSTART! Volume 4 Blu-ray

Run, girls! A century after humanity repelled the invading Nerili aliens and spread its prosperous settlements across the solar system, a new Great Athletic Meet has captured everyone’s imagination. Girls gather from across the planets at University Satellite, a space colony where they compete in different sports for the title of Cosmo Beauty and the position of queen of the solar system. Earth’s Kanata Akehoshi wins through the Antarctic training school qualifiers to fulfil a childhood promise—and reunites at the colony with the girl to whom she made it. Their sporting battles put courage, hope and pride on the line.

In “An Unreachable World,” Paliar has sided with the Solar System Management Committee and Johann to obtain a cure for the disease afflicting her homeland. The new Eva, known as Seva, proves even more powerful than Paliar warned Kanata and her friends. They cannot compete with her, while Eva, unable to receive her adjustments, loses consciousness during an event.

In “Please,” Seva takes Eva’s place in the competition. Returning to Kanata and her friends with Paliar, Eva proposes a one-on-one match. Afterwards, she entrusts Kanata with her feelings and her wish: win the Great Athletic Meet and become Cosmo Beauty in her place. The last event begins, deciding which two competitors will reach the final.

The final episode, “Over the Rainbow,” brings Kanata and Seva to a single, decisive 100-metre race. Kanata and her friends have uncovered the last mystery surrounding their meeting with Eva and found a trump card against the Solar System Management Committee, but using it requires victory. Carrying everyone’s hopes, Kanata takes the first step towards changing their world. This volume also includes commentary for the final episode and an enclosed booklet.
