Four voice performers create an improvisation-filled situation comedy. The three Oguma brothers inhabit a surreal, kitschy world of business ventures that keep going wrong.
It is 2022 in Yokenjaya, Tokyo, where global warming has begun to cause strange phenomena. The Ogumas were an ordinary, happy family of five: an easygoing father, an absent-minded mother, a laid-back eldest son, an unconventional middle son and a dependable youngest son. Then the evil Black Bear Organization, plotting to turn all humanity into bears, attacked their home. Their mother was kidnapped, and their father was transformed into a bear.
The brothers decided they could not keep crying forever and vowed to confront the organization, restore their father and bring their mother home. More than a decade later, life in “Yoncha” remains strangely peaceful. The brothers lurch from one failed business idea to another while supposedly preparing for the organization’s return—except that their conversations always wander off in another direction. Will they ever restore their father and rescue their mother?
